§ 03 — Features
  • · Any amount received into the account will be used to repay the facility.
  • · Linked to your agreed transaction account, your Temporary Overdraft lets you access additional funds (up to an approved limit) due to an emergency.
  • · No fees or interest is charged unless the account is overdrawn past the facility expiry date.
  • · Overdrawn amounts that are not repaid beyond the facility expiry date will be subject to Debit Excess interest.
  • · The additional funds can be accessed for a limited period, with a maximum term of 62 days.
  • · When the balance of their eligible CBA bank account reaches zero, customers will get access to an overdraft facility to cover expenses.
§ 04 — Eligibility & limits
  • · Minimum age 18
  • · Residency: Residency Status
  • · Employment: Eligible to work
  • · Available to individuals
  • · Available on accounts with a maximum of 2 account holders.
  • · Joint account holders must have equal use of the overdraft.
  • · Must already hold or be eligible to open a CommBank Everyday Account.
  • · Must have a source of funds with which to repay the Temporary Overdraft facility before the expiry date.
