Every bank product, as published.
Australian banks are legally required to publish every product they sell, with its rates, fees and conditions, through the Consumer Data Right. We read all of it every night and lay it out side by side. No bank pays to be here, and nothing is ranked by commission.

Read, normalise, compare.
Read
Every data holder on the ACCC register is asked for its full product list and each product's detail, every night, from the same public endpoints banks use with each other.
Normalise
Rates become percentages, terms become months, LVR bands become 0 to 100, fees come out from under their method type. Each product keeps a headline summary for its category.
Compare
Explorers sort by the published number you choose. Withdrawn products stay visible as withdrawn, and each rate or fee that moves is logged with its old and new value.

Questions about the data.
Where do these rates come from?
Every Australian bank, credit union and non-bank lender on the ACCC's Consumer Data Right register must publish every product it sells, with its rates, fees and conditions, through a public Product Reference Data API. We read all of them each night and normalise the results into one format.
Are the rates current?
They are exactly what each institution published at the last nightly read, and every page shows the date the institution itself last changed the product. Confirm on the bank's own site before applying, because banks can change rates at any time.
Why is a bank I know missing?
A few institutions on the register only answer requests from inside Australia or have feeds that fail. They keep their last good data if we ever read them, and the institutions page lists how many could not be reached.
What does restricted mean?
Products only some people can take up: staff and profession loans, green loans tied to property criteria, accounts limited by age, and business or SMSF products sitting in a consumer category. Explorers hide them by default and let you include them.
Does The Finance Algorithm earn anything from these listings?
No. There are no commissions, affiliate links or paid placements. Products are ordered by the published number you sort on, nothing else.
